Polish Industrial Output Slowed in October on Export Demand

Polish industrial-output growth slowed in October as Europe’s sovereign-debt crisis damped export demand.

Industrial output increased 6.5 percent from a year earlier, after increasing 7.7 percent in September, the Central Statistical Office in Warsaw said today. LG Electronics to base first European R and D centre in Poland

South Korean giant LG Electronics has decided to set up its first-ever European research and development centre in Poland, its Polish arm said Thursday.
